Second Weekend in August
By: Chuck Edwards & Kevin Steller
Five middle-aged friends that have been friends since elementary school get together yearly on the second weekend of August. This year is a bit different because of a combination of bad habits, a health issue, and a longtime secret revealed which has turned the weekend upside down. Add in a unique pizza joint with an odd delivery system and you have a fun and entertaining experience that celebrates the ups and downs of friendship.
Thus far, Second Weekend in August has had two read throughs, a staged reading, a table read, and a full production in February 9, 2024!
The production was an amazing success, and has established UCTP as a quality production company in Jackson, Michigan.
